Make Plot fit how you work.
Twists are optional extensions. They run on the accounts you have already connected, doing the repetitive parts of your work so your time goes somewhere better. You install one, you decide what it can reach, and you can remove it.
What a twist does
Runs the routine part
Turn an arriving email into something to do. Send a thread where it belongs. Keep two tools saying the same thing. The parts you would otherwise repeat every week run themselves.
Surfaces what needs you
Not everything deserves your attention. A twist can bring the few things that do to the front and let the rest wait quietly until you have time for them.
Works alongside AI, or without it
Some twists use AI, and one that does says so before you install it. There are no keys to bring and no models to configure, and nothing sends or decides on your behalf.
You grant it, and you can take it back
Installing a twist is always your choice, and it asks for the permissions it needs at the moment you install it. It reaches the part of your work you pointed it at and no further. Third-party twists run sandboxed, and removing one stops it.
The full arrangement is written down rather than implied. The Extensions section of the Terms of Service covers what a twist may and may not do, and Extensions and integrations in the Privacy Policy covers what one can see and what happens to that when you remove it.
Built on your connections
A twist has nothing to work with until an account is connected. Your calendar, your mail, the chat where the decision actually happened, the tracker the work is written down in: a twist acts on those, within what you granted. See what Plot connects to.
You can write your own, too. That is not open to everyone yet, and we would rather say so than point you at something half there.
Where twists run
Plot Dispatch and Plot Traction both carry them. Each is on a waitlist today, and each takes an address on its own page. There's no charge for twists today; the pricing page says what's coming.
